FDI REACHES 15-YEAR HIGH IN CANADA IN 2021
Global companies invested $75.5 billion in Canada in 2021, bringing foreign direct investment (FDI) to a 15-year high. Global business leaders resumed normal activities and put international expansion plans into action. Canada played a key role in their plans. Most investments came from global companies already operating in Canada, proving that once these companies choose Canada, they continue to reinvest over the long term.
